The Eclipse Bar & Co. is a kiosk template for bars and lounges, designed to help customers choose drinks when the front bar is full during peak hours.
This project is a collaboration with Franzine Vallejo, Joaquin Galvan, Isabelle Toews, and Kaity Clansy-Issac
the problem
The template’s menu provides more than 15 drinks for both cocktails and mocktails with 4 side options based on common needs, such as gluten-free or vegan drinks.
A critical part of this project is to make the journey welcoming, so users can have an upscale experience at a moderate pace. Additionally, the task should be easy, feel effortless, and not overwhelm users with massive information.
the solution
We understand the frustration of having to read too many options. The Eclipse includes an optimized menu with filters so users can skim and make the right choice for their night.
Applying TypeScript for the aesthetic
To achieve the desired high-end feel, we used React as the primary tool for Eclipse. The scripts are applied to key elements, the gradient animation, background colours transition and sliders.
