overview
A familiar Safe-net
Jono is a mood diary app that allows users to track moods, share stories, and stay updated on their well-being with their private network in a genuine, effortless way.
Findings
The emotional barriers to long-term growth
Most mental care apps nowadays allow users to work on their feelings alone, as self-reliance is often seen a key characteristic to maintain mental health; but this is not always true and may cause more potential stress.

research summary
Research, stakeholder feedback, and user surveys indicated a need for a mental health app in which close connections play an important role in the user’s healing journey, and users can choose to handle their journey alone or with someone else.
The concept
Jono’s design is inspired by junk journaling, Y2K diaries, and traditional photo albums, which were great methods for self-expression back in the day. My approach to Jono’s interface is to provide comfort when users learn more about themselves, including their emotions and flaws.
